Joraku-shuzo

Joraku Shuzo was originally founded in 1912 as Iimura Sake distillery in the village of Mizukami on the uppermost reaches of the Kuma River. When they reorganized, the company name was changed to Jouraku Shuzo Co, Ltd. And the current distillery location in Nishiki-town began production in 1994. In addition to focusing on long-term storage, especially oak barrel aging, the company is also actively engaged in developing liqueurs using specialty fruits and yogurt.
